New Art Depot Frankfurt

More capacity for valuable goods – built sustainably
In August 2026, hasenkamp will open a new logistics and storage facility in the Frankfurt area. With this new building, we are expanding our capacity for the secure storage and transport of sensitive and high-value art and cultural assets – whilst setting new standards for sustainable infrastructure.
The site combines modern warehousing technology, the highest security standards and sustainable construction methods. In this way, we create optimal logistical conditions for our customers and operate the storage areas in an energy-efficient and sustainable manner using geothermal energy and photovoltaics.
Turning old into new – the construction process in fast-forward

Built sustainable – right from the start
The new building was designed with sustainability firmly in mind. Great importance was attached to conserving resources right from the construction phase.
Sustainability measures at a glance
Use of geothermal energy for energy-efficient heating and cooling
Photovoltaic system for on-site electricity generation
Recycling of materials from the demolition of the existing building
Energy-efficient building services to reduce the carbon footprint
This concept aligns with hasenkamp’s commitment to making logistics solutions increasingly climate-friendly. Our modern art warehouses therefore increasingly rely on renewable energies such as geothermal energy and photovoltaics to enable virtually emission-free operation.

Ideal conditions for delicate items
The storage areas are specifically designed for the high-value and sensitive logistics of art and cultural assets.
These include, amongst other things:
stable climatic conditions
the highest security standards
monitored storage areas
flexible storage solutions for a variety of requirements
The hasenkamp Group already operates over 170,000 m² of high-security storage space at international locations, which are climate-controlled and monitored to museum standards.
The new Frankfurt site adds further capacity to this network in the economically vibrant Rhine-Main region.

The benefits of the new custody account:
