We offer a variety of packaging concepts to protect your artworks from dirt, moisture and mechanical damage. The most suitable type of packaging depends on the characteristics of the artwork in question and whether transport or storage protection is required. Thanks to our in-house manufacture, we can flexibly realise your requirements and wishes. Our portfolio ranges from simple protective packaging to shock-absorbing and fire-retardant climate-controlled crates.

Wide range of systems for transport and storage
We have packaging of different protection classes in our portfolio. You can decide which of these systems is suitable for your application together with your personal contact.
You can choose from:
Carton systems: Cost-effective, made from sturdy corrugated or grey cardboard, optionally padded with tested foam and absolutely suitable for archiving in the acid-free version.
Crate systems: Robust crates in various series. This also includes the sustainable arca high-end climate-controlled crate developed by hasenkamp together with experts. Made from fast-growing Kiri wood, the box has a sustainable insulation layer and is equipped with vibration dampers. The internal fixing frame adapts flexibly to different picture sizes.
Roll systems: Easy-to-handle, flexible means of transport that can be used in a variety of ways.
Optimally protected on the outside, safely stored on the inside
The interior of our packaging systems can be equipped with:
Interior systems such as multi-image packaging, a slide-in frame, interior bracing, template packaging or a roller core
Cushioning systems such as edge protectors, tested foams or high-quality vacuum cushions
We also use our patented, modular hanging system to fulfil all requirements during transport, installation and storage of your sensitive art objects. We have developed this system together with museums, restorers and custodians.

Scientifically tested vibration reduction
We regularly subject our packaging concepts to crash tests in order to continuously optimise the stability of the exterior and interior fittings. Together with employees from the Institute for Technical and Computational Mechanics at the University of Stuttgart, we have researched how vibrations can be reduced during the transport of paintings. One of the results: Selected transport boxes are equipped with vibration dampers that offer ideal conditions for safe transport in accordance with the latest scientific findings and conservation requirements.
