Hasenkamp offers customised solutions for the transport of works of art - nationally and internationally. We coordinate the entire project process: from precise planning and safe transport to professional installation at the destination.
In doing so, we rely on long-term co-operation with experienced partners worldwide to ensure reliable and efficient handling. Depending on the requirements, we select the appropriate transport method - be it with our specialised fleet of vehicles or by air or sea freight.
On request, we can provide you with a detailed CO₂ balance sheet for the transport.

Project-orientated service for all aspects of art transport
For us, the transport of a work of art begins at the point of departure. Whether it's a simple collection or a complex de-installation - our logistics and packaging experts take into account the local conditions as well as the individual characteristics of each artwork and prepare it optimally for transport.
Heavy & special transport
We also offer customised transport solutions for very heavy and large-format exhibits. We have a comprehensive range of technical equipment at our disposal for this - for example our spider crane technology.
Courier transport for art objects
Would you like us to personally accompany your object as a courier? Then we can take care of the entire process for you. Your personal contact will draw up the travel plan and take care of all the formalities - from flight and hotel bookings to visa and customs matters.
Our transport routes
Whether by land, air or sea - we provide you with comprehensive advice on the choice of means of transport and make a decision together with you. Once your artwork has arrived at its destination, a team of experts from our branches will take delivery of the objects at the destination, airport or seaport. They then take care of the delivery, unpacking and installation of your artwork on site, with partners if required.
Land transport
Our fleet of vehicles ranges from vans to jumbo trailer lorries. All our vehicles are air-suspended and air-conditioned and are tracked by GPS at all times. In addition, our two-driver crew guarantees safe and professional handling of your artefacts.
Air freight
Your personal project coordinator books the flight route and, with the support of our customs specialists, prepares all the necessary transport documents. Our aviation security inspectors will pack and seal your artworks professionally. This saves your exhibits being x-rayed at the airport.
Sea freight
If you are looking for an optimal transport solution for particularly large and relatively insensitive works of art, we can transport them by sea freight in 20 or 40 inch containers or in high cube containers.
New meadow for the Musengaul
The Musengaul by artist Jürgen Goertz travelled from Heidelberg to Angelbachtal. The 2.5-tonne sculpture had been on loan in Heidelberg Castle Park since 2019. After almost five years, we brought it back to its home in the Rhine-Neckar district.
Precision and careful planning were required. The 6.5 metre high and 5 metre long horse was simply too big for the narrow entrance gate in Heidelberg Castle Park. The work of art had to be lifted over the historic gate and the surrounding trees using a crane. Once behind the gate, the horse was dismantled and safely transported to its new location on a low loader.
Now it stands in its full size in Angelbach Castle Park and can be marvelled at by visitors to the park.

We offer you customised insurance solutions as reliable cover in the event of a claim. In cooperation with renowned insurance companies, we have developed customised policies for our various product areas. These not only cover fire, burglary, mains water and storm, but also protect your works of art in the event of damage or destruction - regardless of statutory liability restrictions.
In the unlikely event of a claim, we will of course provide you with expert advice.
