Hasenkamp consolidates engineering and project logistics expertise
New centre of excellence for complex project logistics solutions under the umbrella of Hasenkamp Tech Services

Cologne, 1 July 2026 – The Hasenkamp Group is strengthening its capabilities in technically demanding project logistics and, effective 1 July 2026, is bringing together its existing Logistics & Engineering Solutions division and Hasenkamp Tech Services GmbH within a single organisation.
The expanded Hasenkamp Tech Services GmbH will serve as an international centre of excellence for complex project logistics solutions, specialised technical transportation and the delivery of highly demanding projects. The new unit supports clients in the fields of art and culture, high-tech industries, IT infrastructure, laboratories, research institutions, as well as industrial and public-sector organisations.
The requirements placed on modern project logistics continue to grow. Increasingly, projects require not only transportation services but also technical planning, engineering expertise, feasibility studies, specialised equipment and the coordination of complex installations.
“Our customers are facing ever more demanding challenges. They require integrated solutions that combine technical consultancy, engineering expertise and operational execution from a single source. By bringing our capabilities together, we are creating a powerful centre of excellence designed specifically to meet these requirements,” says Thomas Schneider, CEO of the Hasenkamp Group.
The new organisation combines expertise in technical project planning, engineering, specialised handling of sensitive assets, lifting and crane operations, installation services and international project execution. Clients will benefit from a global network of more than 40 locations and the experience of a family-owned logistics company with over 120 years of history.
Stefan Velte appointed Managing Director
Effective 1 July 2026, Stefan Velte will also join the management board of Hasenkamp Tech Services GmbH. Together with the existing leadership team, he will be responsible for the strategic development of the business unit.
“With Stefan Velte, we are welcoming a recognised expert in technically demanding project logistics. His experience and deep understanding of complex customer requirements will play a key role in shaping the future development of our centre of excellence,” adds Thomas Schneider.
Through this integration, the Hasenkamp Group continues its strategic course of strengthening its position as a leading provider of project logistics solutions in sectors where the highest standards of quality, safety and technical expertise are required.
