Connecting values: Hasenkamp supports mobile exhibition of the Cologne Museum Service
Making social values visible together and promoting cultural participation

Cologne, 26 May 2026 - The project logistics company Hasenkamp is supporting the new mobile exhibition "Wert-voll: Wie Werte uns verbinden" by the Cologne Museum Service. The project is part of the "museenkoeln IN DER BOX" format, which brings museums directly into the city's districts and creates spaces for exchange, cultural education and social dialogue.
Since 2021, the Museumsdienst Köln has been travelling to various districts with the mobile format and has already reached numerous school classes as well as youth and adult groups. The new exhibition is dedicated to the question of which values characterise, unite and make our society worth protecting. The topics addressed include social cohesion, tolerance, personal responsibility and cultural identity.
"For us, cultural participation means giving people access to cultural content regardless of their origin, religion or social background - and creating spaces for different perspectives. With 'museenkoeln IN DER BOX', we are consciously bringing the museum into the heart of urban society," explains Barbara Foerster, Director of the Cologne Museum Service.
Hasenkamp is supporting the project both financially and with transport and logistics services. For the internationally active family business, which has been moving and preserving art and cultural assets since it was founded in 1903, this commitment is an expression of its own self-image.
"As a family business that has been entrusted with the protection and preservation of art and cultural assets for generations, we see values not just as something to be transported, but as something that holds our society together. Projects such as 'Wert-voll: Wie Werte uns verbinden' make an important contribution here: they bring people together, promote dialogue and raise awareness of what unites us and is worth protecting. We support this commitment with full conviction - because the preservation of values is always a shared social task," says Thomas Schneider, Managing Partner of Hasenkamp, the company supporting the project.
First stop at the MosqueForum Cologne
One focus of the exhibition is on promoting social dialogue between people of different origins, religions and realities of life. The first station of the new exhibition will take place from 8 to 12 June 2026 in the MosqueForum at the Central Mosque in Cologne. The focus there will be on interfaith dialogue between Christian and Muslim perspectives.
The exhibition is divided into three thematic areas: shared social values, valuable objects in the museum and personal values and individual stories. Visitors are invited to enter into dialogue with one another using selected exhibits and to contribute their own perspectives.
For Hasenkamp, supporting the project is part of a long-standing social commitment. The company regularly supports educational and cultural projects and is involved in social initiatives together with its employees.
Further information on the project and the upcoming stations of "museenkoeln IN DER BOX" is published by Museumsdienst Köln at Museums of the City of Cologne.
