Ellsworth Kelly: A trip to the Middle East

Für die Ausstellung „Ellsworth Kelly at 100“ im M7 in Katar übernahm hasenkamp die anspruchsvolle Kunstlogistik: Installation, Condition Check und Kurierservice für die Werke.

Als erste große Retrospektive Kellys im Mittleren Osten präsentiert die Ausstellung Werke von der Pariser Nachkriegszeit bis hin zu seinen späten Schaffensjahren und vereint Leihgaben bedeutender Museen wie dem Centre Pompidou, Whitney Museum und Philadelphia Museum of Modern Art. Die logistische Herausforderung lag in der Größe und dem Gewicht der Werke, die millimetergenau und sicher platziert wurden, um höchste Standards zu gewährleisten.

In co-operation with Qatar Museums and the Glenstone Museum in Maryland, USA, hasenkamp created optimal conditions for the visitors in three weeks of installation work. The previous stop for the travelling exhibition was the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. It puts Kelly's impressive artistic legacy centre stage.
