As a dispatcher, you are responsible for moving extremely valuable and often irreplaceable goods. You are in charge of route planning and the required truck deployments, clarify the entire project flow with the departments concerned and take care of the necessary planning.
Your tasks will also include organising domestic and international shipments using local and long-distance cargo services. You keep track of everything at all times, act as the link between the different departments and ensure that all shipments run smoothly, from order acceptance to invoicing.
You work together with your colleagues in a pleasant atmosphere and on ever changing and interesting projects, especially in the field of art logistics. Moreover, you are passionate about logistics, know how important your tasks are and understand the unique value of the goods we move.
As a dispatcher at hasenkamp, your day starts with a coordination meeting with your colleagues in the office.
You plan the trips for the coming day, check your emails, call customers to discuss the current status of your logistics projects and coordinate workflows with the other departments.
Depending on the project, you will also be responsible for international planning and will liaise with our offices in Vienna, Amsterdam and Brussels, among others.
In addition to dispatching vehicles and staff and checking their readiness for deployment, your working day also includes the processing and scheduling of incoming orders, hotel bookings for hasenkamp drivers in the case of long-distance services, and close communication and coordination with the drivers.
