As a forwarding and logistics agent in our logistics department, you will be responsible, among other things, for moving goods internationally, some of which are very valuable and irreplaceable. You will never be bored, as new projects are always in the pipeline, for example, special removals or the relocation of unique artworks.
You will not only be in close contact with your customers, but also with the rest of the project team, i.e. the drivers, the warehousing and the dispatch departments in order to ensure that projects run smoothly.
Depending on your career choice, you can join our forwarding department as an art or relocation project coordinator, an art inspector, a customs specialist, an art or relocation team leader or a relocation key account manager. No matter the position, you will always work as part of a well-coordinated team and in a family-like atmosphere.
Your day will start in the office, as you are getting an initial overview of the projects you are managing. Depending on the assignment, you will also visit your customers on site and clarify all questions and task relating to the logistics project by phone or email.
Should there be problems with a project, you will keep a cool head and look for effective solutions together with your colleagues. Furthermore, you will also be in charge of topics such as offer calculation and preparation and invoicing for upcoming projects.
Your daily work includes on-site visits to the customers' premises, if necessary or desired, advising them closely and supporting the logistics projects.
