The traditional company underpins its location decision by founding a subsidiary specializing in assembly and high-tech logistics services.
Cologne-Frechen, February 23 - The name of the youngest subsidiary of the logistics company Hasenkamp says it all: Hasenkamp Tech Services GmbH offers transport and services for machines, plants and production equipment of the semiconductor industry, vacuum technology and automation technology. Companies from other branches of industry such as mechanical engineering are also part of the customer base. After Dresden, the establishment in Chemnitz is already the second branch in Saxony of the special logistics company, which originates from Cologne.
"Chemnitz, with its close ties to technology companies in one of the largest microelectronics and IT clusters in Germany, is an excellent location for our high-tech logistics division and a strategic starting point for providing customers with logistical support from the production site to the point of delivery. I am very pleased that with Bernd Albinus we were able to win over a proven expert and Saxony native with local knowledge for the management of Hasenkamp Tech Services GmbH," says Ralf Ritscher, Managing Director of the parent company Hasenkamp Holding.

Therefore, I see us well positioned in the market with a strong team. Our core competencies of machine assembly and reassembly, inbound and outbound shipments, installations, export packaging, and warehousing complement the manufacturing industry with crucial, quality services."
The new company places an additional focus on services in the healthcare sector, which includes transport, assembly and commissioning of medical equipment and large-scale devices, imaging systems as well as analytical equipment for medical technology.
